Minneapolis, Minnesota. Josh performs regularly across the Twin Cities and the wider Midwest — Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Destination and out-of-region events are welcome; travel is quoted separately.
All of the above. Josh performs solo (fully self-contained with PA), over curated backing tracks, over your DJ's set, or as an addition to a live band. He'll recommend the best format based on your run of show.
Anything the moment calls for — jazz standards for cocktail hour, modern pop-jazz for weddings, and high-energy dance-forward sax for nightlife. Custom song requests are always welcome.
Peak wedding season (June–October) typically books 6–12 months out. For proposals and short-notice events, reach out anyway — availability opens up.
Yes, for solo bookings. Josh brings a professional wireless setup, PA, and backup gear as needed. For larger productions he'll coordinate with your AV team.
A signed contract and 50% retainer secures the date. Balance is due one week before the event. Full cancellation policy is included in the contract; typically deposits are non-refundable but transferable.
Yes, with a few practical asks: shaded/covered performance area if possible, power access for the PA, and a plan B if severe weather is forecast.
Standard is 2 x 45-minute sets or 3 x 30-minute sets, but every event is customized. Cocktail hours run 45–90 min continuous; nightlife sets vary.
Josh will personally connect with your planner or DJ ahead of the event to align on run of show, sound needs, and setlist. Nothing for you to coordinate.
All-black formal by default. Custom attire (tuxedo, white jacket, themed) is available on request.
